Ceramic Jewellery Short Course – Sat 26th April & Sat 10th May

I’m delighted to be teaching a two part ceramic jewellery short course for Clay at The Ringway. Taking place over two Saturdays we’ll be exploring the beauty of nature while you craft exquisite ceramic jewellery pieces. I will guide you through hand building, imprinting and decoration techniques.

The course costs £80 for both sessions (you must attend both sessions to complete your pieces) as places are limited booking is essential. To book please email Lily at claygpcg@gmail.com

These classes are part of the project ‘Clay at the Ringway’ which is generously supported by Grove Park Community Group (www.linktr.ee/claygrovepark)

Miniature Hoop Art Workshop – Saturday 14th June

Workshop fee £25 pp – includes all materials you’ll need, but you are very welcome to bring your own found items – beads, fabric etc to incorporate into your work.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Hands-On Experience:

Suitable for complete beginners and experienced crafters alike, Victoria will guide you through simple techniques and stitches to bring your vision to life.

  • Creative Expression:

Come and play! Combine materials in a new way and unleash your creativity in a supported and relaxed atmosphere.

  • Craft with a conscience

Committed to ethical sourcing and as close to zero waste as possible – materials provided are sourced second-hand, thrifted, and upcycled to give them a new lease of life. Victoria will guide you on how to source your own materials responsibly and cheaply for future projects.

The library has a small onsite café where you will be able to purchase refreshments during the session.

There are a limited number of places, so booking is essential.

Bespoke Workshops

With a background in Community Engagement and Development I am experienced in planning and delivering a wide range of community activities and workshops – from developing craft activities for adults at a weekly coffee morning, to delivering workshops in gallery spaces, and supporting children’s art workshops outdoors. I am committed to creating friendly and inclusive events where everyone is emboldened to try something new, whatever their level of experience or confidence, and to realise their creative potential.

As part of my practice, I am committed to minimising the environmental impact of my work, as such wherever possible materials are sourced second-hand, with offcuts and scraps being reused and repurposed wherever possible.

If your group or organisation is interested in hosting a workshop exploring mixed-media collages, please do get in touch to discuss your requirements, whether it’s a one off workshop or a more in depth short course I look forward to creating a unique experience which:

  • Experiments with combining different artistic techniques to capture a memory or moment.
  • Removes barriers to creativity and encouraging curiosity and playfulness in art.
  • Fosters a sustainable and lower cost – both financially and environmentally – artistic practice

As well as facilitating short courses and community workshops I also offer bespoke sessions for small groups and parties.

Why not host a unique event just for you and your friends? I am happy to tailor the activities to your experience and budget – you provide the venue and refreshments and I bring the crafts and materials!
